そして竣工後も、季節や、風や鳥たちが運んでくる種子、住人の手による剪定、風化などに応じて変化し続けるだろう。その変遷が、唯一無二の家の歴史を刻んでいく。住人は週末になるとここを訪れて、庭で土をいじり、畑を耕して、それと同じような思いで壁や屋根を見つめ、触れる。暮らすほどに心と体が大地になじむ。僕はそんな生活を具現化したいと考えていた。
